Pro Boxing Series tonight at the Pacific grand ballroom of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
Tepora (19-0, 14KOs) will defend his WBO Oriental super bantamweight belt against Yon Armed (14-7, 6KOs), while Araneta (13-0, 11KOs) will go up against Demsi Manufoe (11-6, 9KOs) for the vacant WBO Oriental junior flyweight crown.
Hearing Armed?s early statement that he will be put to sleep early in their fight, Tepora boldly fired back by saying that it?s going to be the Indonesian who will be kissing the canvass even before their scheduled 12-round bout could end.
?He (Armed) should make sure that he will stop me in the fifth round because if he can?t, I will surely be the one who will be knocking him out,? said the 23-year-old Tepora who showed his primed condition weighing in at exactly 122 lbs., one pound heavier than the Indonesian.
?I am pumped up because this is another chance for me to prove that I am one of the contenders in my division. I won?t let this guy get in my way for my dream of a world title fight in the near future,? added Tepora who is currently ranked No.11 by the WBO.

For his part, Araneta will also make sure that his three grueling months of training will not be wasted as he vowed to claim his first regional title via knockout.
?This is a dream for me to be a regional champion. I cannot say what round, but I am going for a knockout against him (Manufoe),? said the 22-year-old Araneta. ?He is my first foreign opponent but I don?t feel any pressure. I am focused in winning.?
