JHALEEL Payao is in for an action-packed fight as he faces off with brawler Jason Tinampay for the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) bantamweight crown in the main event of Omega Pro Sports International?s ?Rumble sa Masbate? on March 8 at the Cawayan Social Center.
?Payao is ready. This will be a very exciting fight,? Omega Gym head coach Christopher ?Ping-Ping? Tepora told SunStar Cebu.
The 23-year-old Payao has won three straight fights after suffering his first career defeat against Michael Dasmarinas in 2015.
Payao and his coaches are very familiar with Tinampay because the latter once saw action here in Cebu City against another Omega Gym fighter, Jhack Tepora.
?As what I saw, he has a weak body and that will be our target,? said Christopher. ?Payao has more experience. We have already trained for Tinampay?s style.?
