WITH one week before he formally closes his Cebu training camp, boxing hero Manny Pacquiao is again holding a fans day at the Cebu Coliseum starting at 9 a.m. today.
Pacquiao held the same fans day last Aug. 26, when the RWS International gym was still ?open? to people who wanted watch the Filipino boxing hero in his training regimen.
However, fans were prevented from going inside the gym after it was closed to the public to let Pacquiao train in seclusion.And today?s fans day will give Pacquiao the rare chance to interact with his admirers before he leaves for the US.
Pacquiao will leave Cebu on Sept. 23, together with his celebrated American trainer Freddie Roach, Filipino trainer Buboy Fernandez, his two Mexican sparring partners David Rodel and Raymundo Beltran Jr. and his business partner Rex ?Wakee? Salud and the other members of the Team Pacquiao.
Today is also the final Sunday when Team PacMan and the Cebu sports media will play a basketball game.

Today?s game is the deciding game after both teams split their first rour matches for a 2-2 score.
And to prevent any injuries, Pacquiao will not be playing basketball today. His younger brother, Bobby, who just started his training also the other day for his Nov. 3 fight in the US, will lead Team PacMan against the CSMA bangers.
After today?s gathering, Pacquiao will wrap up his final week in training.
Tomorrow, Pacquiao will start to spar 12 rounds as he aims to complete a total of 130 rounds of sparring before flying to the US for the Oct. 6 mega rematch with Marco Antonio Barrera at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As of last Friday, Pacquiao has already completed a total of 78 rounds and this week?s, training hours are expected to be a tougher, harder and longer.
Also today, after meeting his fans, Pacquiao will drive to the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club ? where he will be at the driving range, to practice his swing.
Later tonight, he will join his basketball team?the MP Warriors GenSan?in their opening game at the Mandaue City Sports Complex.
