Ancajas & Rodriguez Make Weight

Both champion Jerwin Ancajas and Mexican challenger Jose Alfredo Rodriguez weighed less than 115 pounds, the weight ceiling for their fight tomorrow night, January 29, 2016, at the Cotai Arena, Venetian Hotel, Macau. The weigh-in was held at one of the luxurious conference halls of the Wynn Palace.

Manager-trainer Joven Jimenez refuses to make a prediction but is confident that Jerwin would successfully defend his crown.

Rodriguez, a former 108-lb interim world champion, is a hungry fighter who relishes his opportunity for another run to boxing prominence.
