Vasyl Lomachenko will be defending his WBO super featherweight title tonight against Nicholas Walters at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada.
After starting his career as an amateur in 2007, Lomachenko won by back-to-back Olympic gold medals at the 2008 and 2012 games in Beijing and London respectively.
Despite having only fought seven times as a professional boxer, Lomachenko has the achieved the impressive feat of holding two world title belts at two different weight division.
Walters remains unbeaten as a professional after his last bout with Puerto Rico’s Jason Sousa was called a draw. The 30-year-old has knocked out 21 of his 26 opponents in his career.
