?WHO?S NEXT?? JUST GOT BETTER

The recently launched pro boxing series ?WHO?S NEXT?? will have their second offering July 30 at the Robinson?s Galleria of Cebu City. Fight fans will get to see two regional title bouts and a former Olympian in this free to the public fight card.

Undefeated prospect Jhack Tepora (17W-0L-0D-12KOs), who is the franchise fighter of the Omega Gym of Cebu, will stake his record and his WBO Asia Pacific Youth Super Bantamweight title against Bryan Capangpangan (10W-2L-1D-7KOs).

In the co-main event for the WBF Asia-Pacific bantamweight title, defending champion Kenny Demecillo of Omega Gym will face Rambo Lagos.

Mark Anthony Barriga, who represented the country in the 2012 London Games, will make his pro debut against Melvin Manangquil.

The boxing series of Omega Pro Sports International (OPSI) also got a big boost when the company sealed the television deal with broadcast giant GMA network.

OPSI's VP for Promotions Chad Ca?ares has always emphasized that it is not the promoters, nor the media who will say ?this guy is the next big thing.? Ca?ares stated that is up to the fans who they think is the next top prospect; who is the next face of Philippine boxing. ?The boxers will just try their best to win, to show what they can do but it is the fans who will decide who is next.?
