People remember Mexico?s Cesar Juarez for putting Nonito Donaire through 12 rounds of hell before the ?The Filipino Flash? could once again call himself a world champion.
Now, getting ready to face another hard-hitting Pinoy pug in ?Prince? Albert Pagara, Juarez hopes that it becomes just as every bit as messy as his world title fight with Donaire last December.
?I hope Pagara stands to exchange punches like Donaire and it turns out to be a war.? Juarez said through a interview by ALA Boxing. ?I feel very motivated.?
The 24-year old Juarez (17-5-0, 13 KO) is coming off back-to-back losses, but will have himself a chance at the WBO Intercontinental Super Bantamweight belt that?s currently held by Pagara.
The Mexican challenger called Pagara ?a quality fighter?, but also said the Pinoy knockout artist hasn?t had some tough challenges put in front of him yet.
?He?s a great prospect, hasn’t fight anyone known yet.?
After seeing tape of Pagara?s fights, Juarez says that his style is something that could fare well against the champ.
?He never misses a punch, but when he gets attacked he doesn’t know what to do, and my style it’s attacking and attacking, overwhelm my rivals by throwing a lot of punches.?
When asked what his advantage over Pagara was, Juarez?s answer was pretty simple: ?My belligerence and my Mexican warrior spirit.?
Confident as can be, Juarez laid out his plans for Saturday’s main event. ?My plan is to win, go out and give everything I have and that the fight will end with me as the winner either for KO or decision, but I will win.? Juarez said.
