THE WBC junior flyweight title bout between defending champion Ganigan Lopez of Mexico and Filipino challenger Jonathan Taconing is all set Saturday night at the Arena Coliseo in Mexico City as the two protagonists made weight during Friday’s official weighin. Lopez came in at 107.6 lbs while Taconing stepped the scales at 107.5 lbs, both made in below the junior flyweight limit of 108 lbs.
In the main undercard, Pedro Guevarra weighed in at 111.5 lbs while his opponent Ruben Montoya came in at 111 lbs.
The event is being promoted by Promociones del Pueblo and will be televised all over Mexico by Televisa.
