Main fighters for the first ALA Promotions International Bay Area Boxing show, ?Prince? Albert and Jason ?El Ni?o? Pagara visited two branches of United States? largest Filipino grocery chain, Seafood City and the famous Serramonte Mall in Daly City last weekend. The Meet and Greet schedules were previously announced as part of the event?s promotional plans to connect with the fans that are eager for the first Filipino boxing event to hit San Francisco. Supporters were able to pose with the two champions and get autographs ahead of the July 9 fight night in San Mateo Event Center.
With only less than two weeks to go, both fighters will visit three more locations before settling down to rest before their fight. They will have their Courtesy Call at the San Francisco Philippine Consulate on June 29 from 10-11am, followed by a Public Workout at Seafood City Westborough on June 30 at 4 in the afternoon.
According to ALA Gym head trainer Edmund Villamor, the fighters have to cut short their promotional activities until June 30th at Seafood City, Westborough from 3-5pm, instead of the previously announced schedules until July 3rd, to give them more time to focus for their fights.
