Breazeale ?wins? even though he loses

?It?s hard because you can see they hurt when you start catching them flush with these 10 ounce gloves on, so I knew it was a matter of time, but I didn?t want to receive any haymakers in return,??Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua used Dominic Breazeale as a human punching bag until he finally broke him down and knocked him out in the seventh round?a round in which the big and resilient American seemed to begin with some degree of confidence but ten AJ pounced.. In the end, the British fans showed their appreciation for Dominic?s efforts by giving him a big hand.

Back in 2006, Paulie Malignaggi lost to Miguel Cotto but his gutsy performance lunched him as a fan favorite. Despite a broken orbital bone that had the right side of his face distorted as if it was stuffed with a grapefruit, Malignaggi fought through the pain and won fans with each punch he absorbed. Paulie won even though he lost.

Breazeale was no Paulie, but he showed heart and grit. As one poster said, ?Breazeale was in over his head from the get go, and could’ve bowed out in the 2nd round after that uppercut separated him from his senses, but he hung in, eye all but closed, and tried his best. [You] can’t ask any more from the guy. He acquitted himself well. He had to take the fight. He’s not going to get much better at this stage of the game and what the hell; he had the option to fight Anthony Joshua on a huge stage. He got a nice payday and chance at a strap. This performance should earn him another fight against a name, and another payday. But he got beat up, thoroughly?.?
