LAS VEGAS -- Curtis Stevens (27-5-0, 21KO) of Brooklyn, NY drops and stops previously undefeated Patrick Teixeira (26-1-0, 22KO) of Brazil at 1:04 of the second round on the undercard of Canelo Alvarez vs Amir Khan super fight at the T-Mobile Arena here Saturday night. Stevens captures the WBC Continental Americas middleweight title.
