Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) ? Boxing champ Manny Pacquiao returned to the Philippines on Thursday morning (April 14), days after beating Timothy Bradley in what the Filipino boxing icon said was his last fight.

Pacquiao was scheduled to touch down in Manila at 4:30 a.m., but a delay in his flight meant he arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) at around 5:10 a.m.
He addressed the media alongside his wife and kids and said the that he is happy to be retired.
Pacquiao said his family had long wanted him to hang up his gloves, and his age was not a factor in his decision.
But he admitted that the idea of fighting in the Olympics does excite him and that he would have to think about it long and hard before deciding on it.

Pacquiao is scheduled to have a motorcade at 8:30 a.m. today starting at the Dusit Hotel in Makati and ending at Novotel in Cubao.
