After their disappointing fight earlier this year, there was talk of a Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao rematch in 2016… after his shoulder healed.
Manny Pacquiao claimed that there is an ongoing negotiation for a rematch with Floyd Mayweather, but the undefeated boxing champion denied that he is interested in facing his nemesis again. “I ain’t go out and pick these mothaf*ckas…I don’t know these mother*ckas from Russian Federation, I never even heard of him”. And it was only a matter of time before Mayweather was going to be forced to respond to his prot?g?. That time came during a recent interview that Mayweather did with Fight Hype.
“I don’t know yet who will be my opponent next, but we’re still negotiating right now about the rematch with Floyd Mayweather”, Pacquiao said. “Did I text Stephen A. Smith and say I will fight him again?” I’m blessed way beyond belief and every day I give thanks.
Regrettably, fans “got to realize” that Adrien Broner is an unlikely candidate to ever “stay focused”, “bounce back” or become a longstanding force in the squared circle. AB, you shouldn’t say that.
