FORMER world champion Johnriel Casimero?s training camp for a very crucial fight with McWilliams Arroyo has already kicked off even though there is no venue or date yet.
Casimero flew to the the US along with coach Jun Agrabio and Manny Pacquiao?s cousin Jonel Dapidran the other weekend to start their training in Las Vegas.
The original date of Casimero?s fight with Arroyo was supposed to be today but the bout was postponed.
?Casimero?s schedule has no final date as of now because it was moved from Oct. 24. This week I will confirm the exact date,? SGG Promotions head Sammy Gello-ani told Sun.Star Cebu.
The winner of the Casimero and Arroyo fight earns another crack at International Boxing Federation (IBF) flyweight king Amnat Ruenroeng.
Both Casimero and Arroyo have already challenged and failed. The 25-year-old Casimero lost to Ruenroeng by a lopsided unanimous decision in a very dirty fight. Arroyo, on the other hand, did a better job but was beaten by a close split decision. Both fights were in Thailand.
The 29-year-old Arroyo has bounced back since and scored a third round stoppage of Victor Ruiz.
