Former President and Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada completed his list of 12 senatorial candidates whom he will be supporting and promoting in next year?s polls including ?the people?s champ? Manny Pacquiao.
Calling it an arduous that took him several weeks to complete, Estrada showed the press the 12 senatorial candidates in order of his preference.
First on his list is Vice Mayor Francisco Domagoso who announced his intention to run for the senate in a festive event at Tondo high school last week. Domagoso was supported by Senators Grace Poe and Francis Escudero when he made the announcement last week.
Second on Estrada?s list is Panfilo Lacson followed by Pacquiao, human rights activist Neri Colmenares, former Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairperson Francis Tolentino, former Special Action Force (SAF) chief Getulio Nape?as, Valenzuela city Congressman Sherwin Gatchalian, Serge Osme?a, Philippine Red Cross chairman Richard Gordon, Leyte Congressman Martin Romualdez,Technical Education and Skills Development (TESDA) secretary Joel Villanueva and Miguel Zubiri.
