The mouth-watering sparring session starring Donnie Nietes and Brian Viloria will push through next week at the Wild card Boxing Club in Hollywood.
Nietes arrived in Los Angeles Thursday night for his Oct. 17 showdown with Juan Alejo of Mexico at the StubHub Center in Carson.
Viloria is also neck-deep in training for his shot at Nicaraguan pound-for-pound king Roman Gonzalez also on Oct. 17 at New York?s Madison Square Garden.
?Yes, they?ll spar against each other next week,? said two-time world title challenger Edito Villamor, Nietes? trainer.
The Alejo fight will be Nietes? eighth defense of the World Boxing Organization light-flyweight crown.
Dubbed Pinoy Pride 33: Philippines vs The World, ALA Boxing?s Michael Aldeguer is staging the show in partnership with ABS-CBN.
