DUBAI, United Arab Emirates ? After hard training, Pagara siblings Albert and Jason declared they are fully prepared for their opponents at the coming “Pinoy Pride XXXII: Duel in Dubai.”
The Pagara brothers are confident they can defeat their respective foes, a pair of warriors from Mexico, this coming Friday.
During their radio guesting on Tag 91.1, one of the more popular radio stations in Dubai, ?Prince? Albert said he might go for a knockout against Jesus Rios.
?Makuha ko sa timing, focus lang sa ibabaw ng ring, makukuha din ?yan ng knockout. Darating din yan. Hindi ko ipapaagaw ang belt ko. I?m still undefeated,? said the younger Pagara, who will defend his IBF intercontinental super bantamweight title against Rios.
Albert remains undefeated in 23 fights, with 16 victories coming by way of knockout.
On the other hand, Jason, nicknamed ?El Nino, ? has 35 wins against only two defeats. He has 22 stoppage victories.
Meanwhile, Jimrex ?The Executioner? Jaca will aim to improve his record of 39 wins, eight defeats, and four draws.
Also fighting in the undercard is Larry Abarra.
Their Mexican counterparts, Rios, Ramiro Alcaraz and Pablo ?Lugo? Montiel, also vowed to vanquish the Filipino boxers.
Rios even warned Albert of an impending defeat.
?He is only good only on the first 3 rounds. So after the 3 rounds, I will win the fight,? said Rios through a translator.
