GENERAL SANTOS CITY ? Filipino boxing idol and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao is not leaving United Nationalist Alliance led by Vice President Jejomar Binay.
In an interview with local reporters here, Pacquiao has debunked media reports that he might be joining the administration Liberal Party. Pacquiao made the clarification amid reports which quoted YACAP Party-list Rep. Carol Lopez that the LP was wooing Pacquiao to be one of its senatorial bets.
?I remain to support Vice President Binay,? Pacquiao said. Pacquiao refused to comment when asked if there was an ongoing negotiation between him and the LP leadership. ?As of now, I have not yet decided whether to run for Senate or might opt to run as Governor of Sarangani in next year?s elections,?
