A DREAM rematch between ring idol Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico is expected to be announced in a week or two, Pacquiao’s US-based manager Murad Muhammad said in a telephone interview yesterday.
Before Muhammad and Marquez’s promoter, Bob Arum, could sign on the dotted line to formalize “Pacquiao Vs Marquez II,” a confirmation and the date of the fight from cable TV giant Home Box Office (HBO) will be announced soon.
Muhammad talked with executives of HBO Wednesday and the affable former Muhammad Ali bodyguard said that a date for the rematch could be given “in a week or two.”
