FEATHERWEIGHT king Marco Antonio Barrera has been ordered by the Texas boxing commission to undergo “neurological testing” before the state gives him the license to rumble with Filipino boxing hero Manny Pacquiao in San Antonio on November 15.
According to the Nov. 2 issue of the San Antonio Express News, Barrera, who began training at the Zarzamora Street Gym in San Antonio last October 30, will be tested in Houston on Monday (Tuesday in Manila) – the result to impact greatly on the scheduled fight.
If Barrera fails the battery of tests, his megabuck fight with Pacquiao at the Alamodome will have to be scrapped.
