As the news continues to pour in regarding Manny Pacquiao’s injured shoulder that will necessitate surgery, Floyd Mayweather chipped in saying he would be willing to have a Pacquiao vs. Mayweather Part 2 in September or even a year from now.
Of course he did.
I like millions of other sports fans got swept up in the fight. Wasn’t planning on watching until the day before when a buddy told me he was getting the fight. $20 bucks, a 30-pack of bud-light and two bags of ice later, I watched the fight.
Eh?
Mayweather is the better boxer and Pacquiao didn’t look like the slugger/agressor that he normally is.
I feel gipped!
How is it that a boxer with a torn rotator cuff is allowed to fight by the Nevada Boxing Commission? A boxer that had to throw significantly more punches than his more skilled boxing counter-part, Mayweather was literally and figuratively hand-cuffed by a bad shoulder. How is a fighter with a bad shoulder allowed to fight?
Mayweather vs. Pacquiao was a great show. I enjoyed the hell out of the hype, the fight and getting reacquainted with boxing…But, I will not be participating in M vs. P, the Sequel.
Too much money involved, too much hype and now the seeds have been laid to do it all over again.
