JOHANNESBURG ? Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Golden Gloves Rodney Berman has told Eyewitness News the judges scored the Floyd Mayweather/ Manny Pacquaio fight incorrectly.
The cards read 118 to 110, 116 to 112 and 116 to 112, as Mayweather won by unanimous decision taking his unbeaten streak to 48 fights at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The Filipino went toe to toe with Floyd Mayweather, eventually losing by unanimous decision as Mayweather secured his WBA, WBC and WBO welterweight titles.
Mayweather defeated Pacquiao by a unanimous decision.
Berman says the Filipino was better than that.
?It was very lopsided and it must be justice to Pacquiao to win 118 and it very clear that he won some rounds clearly.
He says Pacquaio should be very proud of his display this morning in Las Vegas.
The unbeaten streak now moves to 48-0, giving Money Mayweather a chance to equal the Rocky Marciano’s record of 49-0 with his final fight in September.
Berman says he did very little wrong.
