LAS VEGAS ? Mike Tyson sat a little far off the stage during the formal press conference for Saturday?s dream match between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The former heavyweight champion who looked ready to kill each time he climbed the ring hoped to feel some animosity in the air.
But he didn?t get what he came for.
Pacquiao and Mayweather were too nice, well at least to themselves. Yes, they never shook hands but there was nothing close to being untoward.

Yet, there were no fireworks lit during the press conference.
?It was like I was in the church or a library. It?s bizaare,? said Tyson.
Even before the people on stage could get off, Tyson and his entourage of three or four were off to the nearest exit.
But he was met with cameras and microphones on his way out and needed a few stopovers before he could finally leave the place.
He said he?s not used to seeing staredowns with one guy smiling.
?It was very subtle, very nice and very polite. It was pretty bizzare,? said Tyson, a known ally of Pacquiao because he once trained under Freddie Roach.
