Get your credit card ready and hope you get lucky.

Tickets for the May 2 megafight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are expected to be put on sale Thursday after Top Rank signed off on the contract Wednesday with the MGM Grand, the host venue for the fight.

A limited number of tickets ? reportedly 500 and priced at $1,500, $2,500, $3,500 $5,000 and $7,500 ? will be put on sale online. MGM officials were finalizing the details and procedure for distribution of the precious seats.

?It looks like we can move forward,? Top Rank president Todd duBoef said Wednesday. ?We?re just waiting on the final paperwork on the contract but everything is in order.?

There was talk that the public sale would take place Wednesday but by late Wednesday afternoon, that didn?t appear to be the case.

Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, said: ?We?re trying to get everything together for a Thursday public sale. We?re trying to finalize everything.?

Ellerbe said the sale of some 50,000 closed circuit tickets at the MGM?s Las Vegas Strip properties are expected to go on sale Thursday. Though the cost has not been officially announced, the closed circuit broadcast seats are expected to cost $150 apiece.

Ellerbe said tickets for the May 1 weigh-in at the MGM Grand Garden, which will have a $10 admission charge, will go on sale at a date to be determined. The proceeds from ticket sales to the weigh-in are being split among two charities.

According to Yahoo! Sports which first broke the story, CBS chairman Leslie Moonves interceded on Top Rank?s behalf to settle a dispute over the contract with the MGM and make sure Top Rank?s signatory rights pertaining to the fight were not violated.

Moonves, who was instrumental in making the fight a reality, got both sides on a conference call Wednesday morning and worked out the remaining legal issues. Included on the call was Mayweather?s advisor Al Haymon along with Top Rank chairman Bob Arum, who promotes Pacquiao.

?He was able to fairly communicate with everyone,? duBoef said of Moonves. ?If it wasn?t for him, I don?t know that we would have gotten this done. He has been instrumental from the very beginning to make this fight happen.?

Mayweather said he stayed out of the ticket process and let Ellerbe handle it.

?I don?t worry about tickets,? Mayweather told reporters on a conference call Wednesday afternoon. ?I worry about the man in front of me ? Manny Pacquiao.?
