In the tiny kitchen of his favorite Thai restaurant in the Hollywood area, Manny Pacquiao flaunted his biceps.
That was Saturday, right after the eight-division champion from the Philippines sparred 12 rounds at the Wild Card Gym.
Pacquiao trained behind closed doors, as practiced the last couple of weeks. He said he did 12 rounds with two sparring partners.
He told The STAR how it went.

Pacquiao flexed his rock-hard biceps.
It was the first 12-round sparring session for Pacquiao in this camp, and it came exactly two weeks before his date with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
No one could tell what really happened inside the gym, not even Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone who was there from start to finish.
?Masayang-masaya si (coach) Freddie (Roach),? Pacquiao added.
What made it different, according to Pacquiao, was that they went 12 rounds in full speed.
?Sinubukan namin yung first round hanggang 12 rounds na hindi mag-slow down (We tried 12 rounds without slowing down),? he said.
?Kung ano galaw ko sa first round ganun ang galaw ko hanggang 12th round (How I moved in the first round was how it went in the 12th round),? Pacquiao went on.
Then he walked to his table inside the packed restaurant where he was joined mostly by family members, including his father, Rosalio, and siblings Bobby and Roel.
The rest of the Pacquiaos flew in Friday, including the illustrious Mommy D.
Earlier in the day, the charismatic boxer was at the Pan Pacific Park for his morning ritual. He went jogging from his home in Larchmont to the park.
Fans came to watch, and by the time Pacquiao was done with his abdominal exercises, a crowd three-deep had gathered around him.
Pacquiao diehards came with Philippine flags and placards with what they had to say.
Katie Glover, an American, made heads turn as she joined the Pacquiao fans. She had her Cleto Reyes gloves signed by the Filipino superstar and posed for pictures holding the Philippine flag.
?I?m an American but I love Manny Pacquiao. He?s so humble. He?s just amazing,? she said.
When he was done with his training, Pacquiao was led to a waiting Escalade, where he stayed for over an hour.
From inside the black SUV, he signed stuff for his fans. As he left, the crowd slowly disappeared.
Sunday is rest day for Pacquiao.
