It’s nice to have fans. And it’s even nicer when one of your fans is an NBA superstar potentially on the cusp of winning an MVP award. Golden State Warriors guard, Stephen Curry, is apparently a fan of Manny Pacquiao.
So, the MVP candidate sent the boxer a gift: an autographed home jersey.
Pacquiao, who is a player-coach in the Philippine Basketball Association, is also a fan of Curry. According to Warriors World, Pacquiao has hooped at the Warriors’ practice facility in the past.
And, as a part of his training for the Fight of Century, Pacquiao continues to play ball. On February 25, Pacquiao took part in a game for his team, KIA Carnival, though he failed to score in the contest. And more recently, Pacquiao won a bet against a reporter by knocking down a deep 3-pointer.
Something tells me he’ll appreciate the signed jersey more than winning that bet.
