Put Up Your Mitts

Holyfield should protect himself at all times, because Mitt Romney has a mean sucker punch, as many can attest?

We?ve not seen the last of Mitt Romney, which is a pity.

The former governor of Massachusetts and twice failed Republican presidential candidate is in the news again. The well-coiffed Mormon with the floating positions isn?t contemplating another run at the White House. Those aspirations were thankfully quashed, albeit by Bush 3.0. But the irrepressible Romney is on the rebound.

Mitt has agreed to fight former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield for a charity event on May 15. Expectations are low, but the ?fight? might relegate the long-hoped-for but never realized box-off between Tanya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan to the dustbin of history where it belongs.

Evander is the favorite going in, but Romney, whose fortune was earned at the expense of the working poor, isn?t above employing dirty tricks when he believes it?s his calling.

?It will either be a very short fight, or I will be knocked unconscious,? Romney told the Salt Lake City Tribune with a twinkle in his eye. ?It won?t be much of a fight. We?ll both suit up and get in the ring and spar around a little bit.?

Hopefully Holyfield won?t hold back. He needn?t use his head, his fists will suffice. But Evander should protect himself at all times, because Romney, aka the Grim Rictus, has a mean sucker punch, as many can attest.
