When we last left the dysfunctional but highly entertaining FMF, or the Fighting Mayweather Family, some apologists and other towel biters were trying to sell a vision of Little Floyd, Pretty Daddy Floyd Joy Mayweather Sr., Uncle Roger and Uncle Jazzy Jeff figuratively if not literally sitting around the old campfire and singing ?Kumbuya.? You could almost imagine them, along with PBF?s shadow and executive assistant Leonard Ellerbe, roasting marshmallows and sipping their hot chocolate under the stars.
But www.boxingconfidential.com readers know better. The FMF is going into Super Fight week in Las Vegas doing what they do best, backbiting, front biting, hitting high and hitting low. Leading the attack, as usual, is Floyd Joy Sr. who may or may not be in his son?s corner on May 5. Maybe it?s best if he and Uncle Roger don?t get close to each other with any sharp objects anytime soon.
