SAN FRANCISCO -- When the Golden State Warriors face the Celtics Sunday night (Monday morning in Manila) at the TD Garden in Boston, they will do so without center Festus Ezeli.
The league suspended Ezeli for 1 game for "initiating an altercation" with Tornton's Tyler Hansbrough last Friday when the Warriors blew out the Raptors,113-89.
The 6-foot-11, 265 pound Ezeli is a Vanderbilt alum on his second year in the NBA. He was drafted by Golden State as the 30th pick of the 2012 draft. Ezeli, 25, appeared in 25 Warriors games this season and averaged 3.9 points and 2.1 rebounds per in 11 minutes of action per outing.
