The Kia Carnival are looking to continue posting several milestones in their young PBA franchise with a win on Saturday against fellow newcomer team Blackwater, a team which it defeated on opening game of the season in front of nearly 52,000 fans at the Philippine Arena.
The Carnival had just posted their first back-to-back victories in franchise history and they have a chance of making it three in a row that would give them an even card of 4-4 which will put them closer to the quarterfinal round.
They have stunned Philippine Cup champion San Miguel Beermen, claimed the scalp of grand slam champion Purefoods Star Hotshots and added Talk ?N Text to its growing list of multi-titled victims.
Kia also posted a record-tying three-pointers made on Wednesday?s win. The 18 three-point shots made, six of them coming from free agent Hyram Bagatsing, was a season-high.
