Tough weekend for Pacman as he starts training while coaching Carnival

MANILA ? Filipino boxing sensation Manny Pacquiao is set to start his light training in anticipation of a fight schedule this May.

According to Pacquiao?s business manager Eric Pineda, the fighting congressman is just doing his normal routine months before a particular fight and that is to keep himself in shape ahead of a scheduled rigorous training camp.

?He?ll start doing cardio workout muna sa General Santos but he will be here tomorrow. May game kasi sa PBA,? Pineda told Rivals.

Today Pacquiao posted photos on his Instagram account wherein he revealed how is spending time with his family before spending time in the gym.

?More than anything that is very important is when you serve the Lord and spend time with the family before the serious training for the upcoming fight. Fight who??? Hehehe I?m excited for this,? was what Pacquiao posted on his Instagram account where he was seen carrying daughter Queen Elizabeth.

Pineda revealed that talks between Pacquiao and Mayweather are doing well and that an announcement is imminent by next week.

Last Sunday at the Araneta Coliseum, Pacquiao appeared in KIA?s losing cause against unbeaten Barako Bull Energy where the multi-division champion was seen having a more active role.

From simply observing his former chief deputy Glen Capacio, Pacquiao was seen tapping players during substitutions and giving out direct instructions to his supposed wards.

?Kabisado niya na naman yan. Siya naman ang may gusto ng mga plays na nilalaro namin,? said Pineda.

KIA will face crowd favorite Brgy. Ginebra this Friday at the Big Dome which will be a rematch coach Ato Agustin may be waiting for.

This is because an import-less Ginebra lost to KIA, 101-96 where the Carnival?s 7-foot-3 import PJ Ramos scored 45 points during their tuneup game before the start of the Commissioner?s Cup tournament. ? Rivals 2015
