MANILA, Philippines – Manny Pacquiao said on Twitter he can ?easily beat? Floyd Mayweather Jr. ? if and when the fight happens.
?I believe that,? Pacquiao said the other day in a short message seen by his 1.59 million followers and retweeted over 93,000 times.
Pacquiao has never been as bold in daring Mayweather to fight him. The past few days he has posted more tweets than he had over the past few months.
?If you really care about the fans, you will fight. If you care about yourself… you won?t fight,? he said in another message directed at Mayweather.
It?s been all over the sports pages that negotiations are on to finally make it happen in May.

But Mayweather just doused cold water on them. He used the same old line that Pacquiao?s promoter, Bob Arum, is the reason why the fight hasn?t been made.
Not too many people are buying that.
Pacquiao said Mayweather is ?scared to lose.?
Mayweather admitted that negotiations are on and that he ?absolutely? wants to face Pacquiao this time around.
?But has the fight been made? Not at all,? said Mayweather in a recent chat with American hip-hop DJ Whoo Kid.
?Absolutely we are negotiating. Pacquiao said that he agreed to everything. What did you agree to? You have no say so. You have a boss. That?s called Top Rank Promotions,? he added.
Mayweather says he?s his own boss and that nobody can dictate on him.
He described Pacquiao as a pawn.
?So a lot of times when Pacquiao say, ?Oh, I agree.? You don?t have nothing to do with this. You?re not a boss. On the chess board, you?re a pawn,? said Mayweather.
Pacquiao will wait until the end of the month for Mayweather to sign the fight contract or he?ll start looking at another opponent.
Amir Khan could be next in line for Pacquiao?s if it?s not Mayweather, and reports said they?re looking at England or the Middle East as venue of the fight.
Mayweather could be looking at a rematch with Miguel Cotto.
Again, the super fight is slipping away.
