PACQUIAO FIGHT & THE RULES OF BUYING PAY PER VIEW BOXING!

IF A FIGHT IS WORTH $50 LIVE, THEN PPV’S A DEAL!

San Antonio, TX- Although I myself do my like buying every Pay Per View boxing event that comes down the pike, I think we need to look and “define” PPV aso to what is worth buying, and what is not. People are steaming because Bob Arum’s Top Rank will promote and produce the Manny Pacquiao-Jorge Solis card this Saturday, asking $49.95, and not offering a week later delay broadcast on HBO.

FIGHT FANS NEED ORGANIZE & NOT COMPLAIN

Instead of fretting, fight fans should be organizing a PPV get together at either your house, or that of a friend. And like I stated in the first “sub” headline, “If a fight is worth $50 live, then the PPV is a deal!” That being said, the 44-3 Pacman takes on unbeaten (32-0-2) Jorge Solis. Also on the bill, the latest rage in Mexico, Jorge Arce is fighting for a 115 lb. title belt. In addition, the undefeated son of an Icon, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., he too will be part of the PPV mix, as will Brian Viloria, one of our class of 2000 favorites.

BUYING THE SHOW BECAUSE IT’S MANNY

Unlike other sites who take the Top Rank “talking points,” and then run with them unfettered, we don’t play that way here. But I think that a card involving Mr. Pacquiao, as hot as he is right now is hard to pass up. With the UFC and boxing PPV broadcasts the norm for now and the future, it’s time to stop griping and start organizing your party for this Saturday and those to follow. Through numbers, boxing and MMA fans can substantially cut the out of pocket expenses dramatically.

FIGHT NEWS WON’T CORRECT ARUM TALKING POINTS

From a Fight News report over weekend: The card will be televised by Top Rank Pay-Per-View. “We’re doing the telecast ourselves,” says promoter Bob Arum. “That means you’re going to see four fights, one fight right after another and there will not be a free replay the following week. If you don’t tune in on April 7 to watch it, you’re not going to get another chance to see it.”

NEWS “FLASH” TO ARUM & FIGHT NEWS TOO!

Attention both Fight News & Bob Arum: The fight card you are speaking of and trying to promote will not take place on April 7, more like April 14!
