DENVER CUELLO WINS IN MEXICO

Filipino fighter Denver Cuello (27-4-6, 17 KOs) of Cabatuan, Iloilo knocked out Mexican Sebastian Arcos (0-1-0) in the third round at the Convention Center in Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The fight was scheduled for 6 rounds. Official time was 2:24.
The world ranked Cuello knocked Arcos down a total of three times throughout the fight with accurate shots which resulted in Arcos bleeding through the nose.
The third and final knock down was produced by a powerful left by Cuello in the abdomen of Arcos followed by a right to the chin knocked the lights out of the Mexican for the full ten-count.
After the win, Cuello is scheduled to fight another Mexican Carlos Perez (12-3-3, 8 KOs) on October 15 at Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
