Pacquiao, Nine Other Pinoys in Latest Ring Ratings By Teodoro Medina Reynoso PhilBoxing.com Thu, 20 Nov 2025 ![]() Jerusalem (L) and Taduran (R) top the 105 division rankings. Former eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao led nine other Filipino fighters in the latest Ring Magazine world boxing ratings. Pacquiao initially is reportedly gunning for another world title crack against current WBC champion Rolly Romero but is recently being linked to the long awaited rematch with the currently retired boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jnr next year. He is rated #10 in the loaded welterweight division topped by American unified champion Brian Norman Jr. Two current Filipino world champions Melvin Jerusalem and Pedro Taduran towed two other Pinoy fighters in the Ring Magazine world ranking at minimumweight. Jerusalem, the reigning WBC champion and Taduran who is the current IBF titlist are rated #1 and #2 in boxing's littlest division where Puerto Rican unified WBA-WBO titleholder Oscar Collazo is the recognized Ring lineal world champion. The other rated Pinoys in the 105 lbs class are Joey Canoy who is rated #6 and Vic Saludar who is #9. Former world title challengers Regie Suganob and Christian Araneta are rated #6 and #7 in the light flyweight class where the Ring Magazine lineal world championship remains vacant. JR Raquinel is the lone rated Filipino at super flyweight where American Jesse Bam Rodriguez is the Ring champion. Former multi division world champion and current WBA interim titlist Nonito Donaire does not make the ranking at bantamweight where three Japanese hold the world championships. Donaire however is set to fight for the WBA bantamweight super title against Japanese champion in recess Seiya Tsutsumi who is the Ring number one rated contender. Former unified WBA-IBF titleholder Marlon Tapales is rated #1 at super bantamweight where undisputed world champion Naoya Inoue is also the Ring Magazine lineal world titleholder. Carl Jammes Martin does not make the rating this time while a recent loss could have adversely affected the chance of Johnriel Casimero. Former Olympian Charlie Suarez is rates #8 at super featherweight where the man he nearly defeated for the WBO title, Mexican Emanuel Navarette, is rated #2. Suarez remains as the WBO mandatory challenger to Navarette as there is a standing order by the WBO for their immediate rematch.
