Lebron James is first player to play 23 seasons in NBA history

Global sports superstar LeBron James became the first player in NBA history to play for 23 seasons, surpassing Vince Carter.
James missed the first 14 games of the season due to sciatica, completed extensive rehabilitation playing with the South Bay Lakers of the G League, and is now the NBA's all-time leading scorer.
James is 50 games away from Boston Celtics legend Robert Parish, who holds the all-time record for games played, and is also closing in on Jason Kidd's 508 assists, which puts him third on the all-time assists list. He is also just six three-pointers away from Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller, who holds sixth place on the all-time three-pointers list.
