Paciones to fight Li in Bangkok on Dec. 26

UNDEFEATED Arvin Jhon “The Sniper” Paciones of Cebu will fight Xiang Li of China for the WBA Asia light flyweight championship on December 26 at the Spaceplus Bangkok RCA in Bangkok.
The 19-year-old Paciones [9-0-0, 5KOs] is now based at Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
He recently beat Rene Mark Cuarto of Davao City by a split decision last June 29, 2024 in Mandaue City.
Paciones will be fighting his third bout for this year.
The 26-year-old Li, on the other hand, has a record of nine wins with four knockouts, two loses and two draws.
In his last fight, Li stop Thani Narinram of Thailand in the 1st round on January 19 in Bangkok.
Meanwhile, three Filipino fighters – Reymond Yanong, Elmar “Samurai” Zamora and Reymart Soledad will also see action in the supporting bout.
Yanong [15-10-1, 10KOs] will face Campee Phayom [25-14-2, 17KOs] of Thailand for the ABF lightweight championship.
Zamora [8-0-0, 6KOs] will trade punches with Wisitsak Saiwaew while Soledad [3-0-0, 1KO] collide with Nahathuch Singmanasak Gym.
The event, dubbed as the “Fist of Glory” is presented by the Highland Boxing of Brico Santig.
