The highly anticipated 8-round bout will be part of an action-packed card headlined by Jamaine “The Technician” Ortiz (17-2-1, 8 KOs) versus Christian Rubio Mino (24-9-2, 17 KOs) in a 10-round bout for the WBA Continental USA Jr. Welterweight title. All the action will be broadcast live globally on DAZN. Barrientes, a Las Vegas native, recognizes the challenge that Contreras presents but is confident in his preparation and skills. For Barrientes, this bout is about more than just keeping his perfect record intact, it's a chance to compete at his preferred weight class. “I’m expecting a challenging fight against Contreras.
