Promising Filipino-Australian fighter Armand Rebojo notched his second professional victory by knocking out Watcharin Buachroen of Thailand in the second round of their super flyweight bout Saturday evening in Melbourne, Australia. Rebojo is now 2-0 all by KOs.
"Rebojo showcased exceptional boxing skills, speed, and power tonight, sealing the deal with a brutal knockout courtesy of a massive right hand," remarked Australian Hall of Fame promoter Peter Maniatis. "His performance highlights his potential as an exciting and talented boxer, and his development trajectory is incredibly promising."
Both Rebojo and his opponent, Thailand's Watcharin Buachroen, weighed in at 53kg during the official weigh-in ceremony held Friday. However, from the opening bell, Rebojo asserted dominance, repeatedly rocking his Thai counterpart with powerful right hands, sending shockwaves through the arena. With such display of power shots, Rebojo's future in boxing appears bright, stated Peter Maniatis.
The event unfolded at St Kilda Town Hall in Melbourne, generously supported by Ultratune, Sean Buckley, and Hisham Hanna.
