Arca bounces back, wins again

FM Christian Gian Arca of Panabo City bounced back and won again by beating compatriot WIM Kylen Joy Mordido in the 5th round of the 21st Bangkok Chess Club Open 2024 today, April 17 at Bangkok in Thailand.
Arca will face Akula Pranay of India. Both are toting with 3.5 points and are under 18 year old.
IM Paulo Bersamina and IM Daniel Quizon also won today to score 4.0 points.
Bersamina demolished FM Masahiro Baba of Japan while Quizon prevailed over Bjorn Lundberg of Sweden.
Bersamina will next play against GM M. Pranesh of India while Quizon will face FM Felix Xie of New Zealand.
