PINOY BOXING 13: ESNETH DOMINGO BATTLES MICHAEL BRAVO FOR THE WBO GLOBAL FLYWEIGHT TITLE

Former ALA boxer Esneth Domingo will get a break for worldwide recognition when he shoots for the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) Global flyweight title against dangerous opponent Michael Bravo in the main event of the fights co-promoted by Elorde UKC Promotions, Knuckleheads Boxing, Sanman Promotions and ZIP Sanman on December 18, 2023, to happen at The Flash Ballroom of the Elorde Sports Center in Parañaque City.
Domingo's uncle and presently his trainer Michael Domingo was also a former ALA Gym standout. If Domingo wins over Bravo he could earn a position in the flyweight rankings of the WBO and could open the door to a world title shot against present WBO world titleholder Jesse Rodriguez.
The 25-year-old Domingo told SunStar Cebu that he will not predict a knockout because his opponent is also good but thinks he can defeat him. He considers this as the most important fight of his career and aspire of someday becoming a world champion
He trained in Japan then in Cebu and his main sparring partner is fellow former ALA Gym world-ranked fighter KJ Cataraja.
Domingo of Lebak, Sultan Kudarat lost to Alphoe Dagayloan by unanimous decision in a World Boxing Association Asia flyweight title fight in Cavite.
He had an impressive last two fights and knocked out Japanese prospects Jukiya Iimura and Kosuke Tomioka.
The 30-year-old Bravo of Kidapawan City fought former interim World Boxing Council bantamweight champion Reymart Gaballo losing by split decision and ex-world title challenger Giemel Magramo losing by TKO.
Domingo has a professional record of 18-2 with 10 KOs, while Bravo has a slate of 14-3 with seven 7 KOs.
