PACQUIAO, PENALOSA, CHAVIT TO GRACE 'KADAUGAN' BOXING EVENT

With superstar Manny Pacquiao already a go to grace the event, this Monday's huge "Kadaugan sa Mactan" boxing event will be a star-studded affair with no less than WBO bantam boss Gerry Penalosa also confirming his attendance.
Promoter Rex 'Wakee' Salud, who is co-promoting the show along with Manny Pacquiao, also informed yesterday that former governor Chavit Singson and businessman-sportsman Hermie Esguera is also coming to be at ringside for the event.
Penalosa, Singson and Esguera are set to plane in on Monday, said Salud.
IBF minimumweight champ Florante Condes, who is arriving on Monday to train at the ALA Gym, might also grace the card headlined by Randy Suico.
Meanwhile, the official weigh-in for the event takes place at 12 noon today inside the RWS Boxing Gym in Labangon.
Matchmaker Willy Flores informed that Thai fighter Sormkom Jockeygym arrived last night with Thai international matchmaker Narong Hengtrakul of Bangkok.
The 12-round superflyweight showdown between Eden Sonsona and Richard Olisa is also expected to steal the show.
Sonsona, a protege of former Pacquiao business manager Rod Nazario, will be defending his RP title against the Aljoe Jaro protege Olisa.
