BOBBY PACQUIAO FACES UNBEATEN ANTILLON TODAY
By Salven L. Lagumbay PhilBoxing.com Fri, 14 Mar 2008

Two days before his more illustrious brother plunges into action, Bobby "Sniper" Pacquiao himself figures in an uphill battle against the undefeated Mexican Urbano Antillon at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The hotel is the same venue where Bobby lost via disqualification to his brother's former conquest Hector Velasquez.
At yesterday's weigh-in, Pacquiao came in at 133 lbs, while Antillon was at 134 lbs.
Antillon, a Top Rank protege who hails from Namiquipa, Mexico, holds an unblemished record of 21 wins with 14 KO's, and is one of those young prospects groomed by Bob Arum to become the next Mexican star.
This writer had an opportunity to see Antillon in action October 4 last year also at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and from the looks of things, Bobby Pacquiao, in top shape, has got a fair chance of beating the Mexican fair-haired boy.
The younger Pacquiao had been training hard for this fight at Freddie Roach's Wild Card Gym, and this should be enough to give Antillon some problems as a well-conditioned Bobby Pacquiao is considered technically a better fighter than his iconic brother Manny.
