EXPERTS PREDICT JONAS WILL LOSE TO JERWIN BUT SULTAN CAMP NOT AFFECTED
By Virgi T. Romano PhilBoxing.com Wed, 23 May 2018

LOS ANGELES, Ca. -- Team Jonas Sultan is not affected, whatsoever, with the predictions made by some boxing personalities in regards to his chances against IBF super flyweight champion Jerwin Ancajas.
In fact, this is not the first time that Sultan is being tagged as just a mere challenger.
When he fought Johnriel Casimero and Sonny Boy Jaro last year, nobody believed he can pull a surprise. But he did. Beating Casimero on points and stopping Jaro in 8th.
Sultan faces Ancajas on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) at Save Mart Center in Fresno.
Earlier, former two-time world champion Gerry Penalosa and boxing trainer Nonito Donaire Sr., had predicted a win for Ancajas, saying that the champion has more fight experience compared to Sultan.
Sultan's chief trainer Edito Villamor was not surprised at those predictions. As they have been in the same situation in the past fights, not only with Sultan but other boxers of the famed ALA Boxing Stable. And it won't bother them anymore.
"Ok lang 'yon. Wala naman kami problema sa mga predictions, iba-iba naman ang opinion ng mga tao," Villamor said.
"Wala naman siguro maniwala na manalo si Jonas. Pero kami, we worked had for this fight at condition naman si Jonas. We'll just wait and see na lang sa Sabado kung sino ang manalo." (VTRomano)
