CHOT REYES WISHES TO END HIS CAREER BY LEADING A TEAM TO THE OLYMPIC GAMES

TV 5 head and former coach of the Gilas Pilipinas national team that earned a place in the World Cup of Basketball, wishes to once again lead the Philippine team to the Olympic Games, possibly in 2020 in Tokyo, Japan.
Reyes told The Manila Standard that "you can never say never" when asked about the possibility of returning to coaching and added '"the last thing I still like to be in my career is to lead a team to the Olympics."
Currently heading a revamped TV 5 which is developing primarily into a sports network. Reyes' first love has been basketball and it is a well-known fact that he has a tremendous passion for the game as shown in the Fiba Asia Championships held in Manila when he led Gilas Pilipinas to a runner-up finish and earned a spot in the Fiba World Cup of Basketball in Spain on a slogan "Laban! Puso!"
He was one of the most successful national coaches in recent years and despite some criticism after the World Cup, he stood firm in his beliefs and won recognition for his efforts.
