RENI?S PREDICTION AND BOYCOTT OF ?MAY-PAC

PhilBoxing.com

What matters and lasts, man ignores to his own havoc.

There?s a call to boycott the ?Super Fight? (in spite of Manny Pacquiao) and so here comes The Moment for fans, people and media worldwide to be great. But before that, I hereby submit my prediction of the bout as various sites, publications and aficionados have been asking yours truly for it:

It can be a one-sided fight either way, it depends on Floyd.? If Mayweather would opt to be aggressive offensively, Pacquiao will win. ?But if older Mayweather will "run" or maintain defense as his key weapon, Pacquiao may lose in dull twelve rounds.?It?s going to be a 60/40 winning chance for the boxer whose style would prevail. Cocky Roach is immaterial in a Pacquiao win, though he shares the blame big if Pacquiao loses. ?

But here?s the beef and the weighty issue for everyone to address as the ?fight? of the century approaches. The matter makes everything about ?May-Pac? (with its frantic madness) pales in comparison. The May 2 hype is getting maniacal as dark clouds hover and cover the earth.

First off, instead of buying a pay-per-view for me and my family, I have just donated the money to the unfortunate victims of the recent 7.9 earthquake in the country of Nepal.

ESPN?s famous sports show host Keith Olbermann is a man, a rare breed in media these days. Boldly he spoke in his program and clamors for a boycott of Floyd Mayweather: ?I will not give Mayweather a dime. He should?ve been banned for life by his sport two, or five, or ten years ago. I will not promote, watch, nor report on Mayweather?s fight. I WILL BOYCOTT it and I urge you to as well.?

Quoting from Inquisitr.com (4/26/15):

?Olbermann isn?t boycotting the fight for no reason ? he pointed out Mayweather?s history of violence against women, as well as what he believed was a startling lack of action against him by both law enforcement and the Nevada State Athletic Commission? Olbermann also pointed out how athletes from other sports who were guilty of domestic abuse were often punished more heavily, even if those punishments were still lacking. He brought up Ray Rice, who was suspended from the NFL and has yet to find another team.?

The host continues, ?You will support this excuse for a man? You will help him continue to behave as if his conduct is acceptable in the 21st century, or the 20th or the 19th?? Read the full report/article, http://www.inquisitr.com/2045443/keith-olbermann-to-boycott-floyd-mayweather-fight-you-will-support-this-excuse-of-a-man/

Inquisitr.com concludes the article beautifully, ?But while it is important that high profile figures like Olbermann publicly voice their dissatisfaction, there?s another problem to be solved, and it?s one that won?t be affected too much by something like a boycott: THE SILENCE OF THE MEDIA.?

But Melissa Jacobs of The Guardian UK isn?t silent. She titled her piece (4/27/15), ?WHY I CAN?T BRING MYSELF TO WATCH BOXING FIGHT OF THE CENTURY.? Melissa beamed, ?No one involved in boxing is looking out for Mayweather?s victims. No one seems to care or understand how ignoring his crimes is psychologically damaging to all victims, and lays down a red carpet for other perpetrators.? (http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2015/apr/27/floyd-mayweather-manny-pacquiao)

From columnist George Diaz of Orlando Sentinel (4/27/15), ?Mayweather deserves a beat down for abuse against women. He doesn?t discriminate when it comes to fighting. He is very good at beating up men, and women? Before you dish out $99.99 for the HD pay-per-view offering on Saturday, do your homework on Mayweather and his violence against women.?

From ESPN?s Outside the Lines interview:

Reporter John Barr: ?In your case there?s been actual convictions and no governing body has ever suspended you or sanctioned you. What message do you think that sends victims of domestic violence??

Mayweather: ?Honestly, I want everybody to tune in, May 2nd Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. This is the fight that you can?t miss.?
How true, this is the fight that we all can?t miss to BOYCOTT.
Be humane.
