Featherweight champion Vinvin Rufino makes his second defense of his Philippine featherweight title when he collides with Cristian Abila in another edition of Boxing Kontra Droga today at the Elorde Sports Center in Sucat Road, Para?aque.
Rufino, currently rated No. 4 in the Orient, is fighting from the Elorde stable while the Libon, Albay native Abila is managed by Johnny Monis.
The event ? which starts at 6 p.m. ? is presented by Johnny Elorde Management International in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Manila 101 headed by newly-installed Club President Felly Dy.
Also fighting for the evening are WBC No. 3 Jonathan Taconing against Thai Jaipetch Chaiyong, Randy Braga versus Dexter Mendoza, and Glen Sumingit against Junar Adante.
