With Miguel Cotto’s two straight victories in the past 13 months under the tutelage of Hall of Fame Trainer Freddie Roach, critics say that the Puerto Rican boxing idol is now a better fighter than Manny Pacquiao. For over a decade, Roach has transformed Pacquiao into an incredible fighting machine, knocking out superior fighters and dominating the sport for the longest time. Floyd Mayweather’s uncle Roger Mayweather said that Cotto is now a better fighter compared to Pacquiao after beating Sergio Martinez to bag the WBC and The Ring welterweight titles two weeks ago. Roger, who is also a boxing trainer praised Cotto saying the Puerto Rican is a brilliant guy while Pacquiao does not possess Cotto’s ability. “Cotto got more ability, he’s a be last two figtter puncher, he’s a brilliant guy. He’s a brilliant puncher. Pacquiao has nothing of those movements,” Roger said.
