Despite two straight losses in the past nine years, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao has remained the longest-reigning fighter in the Ring Magazine’s list of pound for pound fighters, besting current pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Pacquiao, who lost to Timothy Bradley in June 2012 and to Juan Manuel Marquez in December of the same year, has remained in the pound for pound list of The Ring for 548 weeks or roughly 13 years. Pacquiao has a career record of 56 wins, six losses and two draws. He is set to return to the ring for his 65th professional fight on Nov. 22. Unbeaten Floyd Mayweather, jr., is on top of the pound for pound list but with credits of only 141 weeks which could be due to his short-lived retirement. He is the fourth longest-reigning fighter in the pound for pound list.
