According to Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, Pacquiao is guaranteed to make a minimum of $20 million for the Bradley rematch. In addition, he will get a share of the pay per view buys.
As for Bradley, a fighting Pacquiao again made perfect sense. A lot of people don’t believe he won their first fight. This rematch will give him a chance to shut all of his haters up. If he can convincingly defeat Pacman in the rematch, he will instantly before a top pound for pound fighter. In addition, he would instantly become a frontrunner to fight Floyd Mayweather.
And it’s not like Bradley can complain about the money he is getting for the rematch either. He may not be getting paid as much as Pacquiao, but he’s still getting the biggest payday of his professional boxing career. He is guaranteed $6 million for the rematch. Bradley made $5 million for their first fight.
